The Athletic Games represent part of the identity of our beloved College, which is why every year, in the month of June, the entire educational community attends the most important event of the year: The celebration of our Athletic Games, the great sports festival of our institution. Sport is a pillar of our comprehensive education and for this reason the logo of our College is an athlete in motion and an olive branch, a symbol of victory since the times of ancient Greece. Our logo then makes a graphic mention of the harmony that should exist between mind and body, and that students must overcome academic demands, without forgetting the importance of the cult of a healthy body, and what better route than sport to achieve that perfect balance. Since the creation of the four teams, Gladiators, Bocobra, Quirope and Amazonas, in 1959, the tradition is maintained. This great celebration is part of the history of our Institution. It is very important to maintain our sports tradition, since it is it that generates the guidelines of our identity and allows the vision of our founder, Professor Anselmo Alvarado Dorato, to prevail over time, hence these games are part of the history of the Institute School. Fair play, healthy competition, brotherhood and familiarity that characterizes us, are the North to maintain over time. International and national sports records, South American and Pan American champions have emerged from our tracks in various disciplines, such as swimming, fencing, tennis, indoor soccer, gymnastics, golf, volleyball, equestrian and karate.
